ELKHART, Ind -- You may remember an Elkhart Father's memorial for his son was destroyed by vandals back in May. This weekend he is getting help replacing it.

Marvin Trost Senior built a memorial for his son, Staff Sergeant Marvin Lee Trost outside his home, but someone destroyed it just before Memorial Day.

This weekend, Mavtistic Glass and Stone donated a hand-carved stone to Trost to replace the ruined one.

This isn't the first donation Trost has received to help replace the memorial. Shortly after we aired his story in May, people in the community brought flags, flowers and money to help make it even bigger and better than before.
