Elkhart firefighter recovering after suffering injuries during Bristol Street fire

BRISTOL, Ind. -- An Elkhart firefighter is recovering after he was hurt while working on a fire.
It happened Saturday night on Bristol Street.
His family tells ABC57 News, for privacy reasons they don't want us to release his name or a photo, but we do have information about his injury.
He suffered a broken back while trying to vent a roof and is currently recovering at Elkhart General Hospital.
