Elkhart man convicted of murder in death of Lavell Evans

An Elkhart County judge has convicted Marcus Gary of the April 18 murder of Lavell Evans, according to our reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.
Evans was shot while in the 400 block of Chapman Avenue, at the Washington Gardens apartment complex.
Gary was convicted of murder and is expected to be sentenced as early as next month.
