Elkhart mayoral debate to air on WMYS

The American Democracy Project of Indiana University South Bend and the League of Women Voters Elkhart County will be hosting a debate between the candidates for Elkhart mayor at the Lerner Theatre Monday evening.

The debate will be moderated by Dr. Elizabeth Bennion, a professor of political science and the founding director of the American Democracy Project at IUSB.

If you want to attend the event, it is being held at the Crystal Ballroom at the Lerner. You are asked to arrive by 6:30 p.m. to submit questions for the candidates, talk with campaign staff, grab some literature and find your seats.

Audience instructions will begin at 6:45 p.m.

The debate will begin at 7 p.m.

If you cannot attend the debate, you can watch it from 7 - 8 p.m. on WMYS, channel 69.1, or the live stream on abc57.com. The full debate will be posted to abc57.com by 9 p.m.
