ELKHART, Ind. — The Elkhart Police Department responded to a report of shots fired around 9 p.m. Friday at the Retreat Apartment Homes in the 2000 block of Toledo Road.
Police say no injuries have been reported, and a suspect is currently in custody.
Authorities add that this is an active and ongoing investigation, but there is no ongoing threat to the public.
