Elkhart police dog sniffs out $300,000 of heroin hidden in car

ELKHART, Ind. -- An Indiana police dog made quite the discovery in a car on the toll road near Elkhart.

The dog helped officers find hidden compartments that officers said contained $300,000 worth of heroin.

An officer pulled the driver of the Honda Accord over and became suspicious when the driver said he was driving from Philadelphia to Merrillville to go shopping at the mall there.
