Elkhart police investigate death on Morton Avenue

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart police are investigating a death on Morton Ave.
The call came in around 11 a.m. on Saturday.
When police got to the scene, they found a 69-year-old man dead.
His birth name is James E. Grant, but everyone called him Tyrannosaurus Rex Mullens.
We spoke with neighbors who said T-Rex lived there for eight years.
We did some digging and found out that this man was a registered sex offender.
Police said the case is under investigation pending an autopsy.
