Elkhart Police investigating shooting

Elkhart Police were called to the 1600 block of S. 8th Street early Thursday morning for reports of gunfire.

The victim was inside the residence and heard sounds of gunfire.

Police located bullet holes in the side of the residence and the interior walls.

There were no injuries in the shooting.

Police say they collected spent rounds at the scene.
