Elkhart Police investigating shooting on Marion Street

ELKHART, Ind. - The Elkhart Police Department is investigating a shooting on Marion Street Monday evening that left one person injured.
Police were called to the 900 block of West Marion just before 7 p.m. to investigate.
When they arrived, they found one man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers believe this was an isolated incident.
