Elkhart Police looking for armed robbery suspect

ELKHART, Ind. – Police are searching for man suspected of robbing the Main Street 7-Eleven at gunpoint Friday morning.
According to Elkhart Police, officers were dispatched to the store around 6:18 a.m. where they learned the suspect allegedly pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money.
Witnesses describe the suspect as a black male who is about 50-years-old. He is about 5’10” and was last seen wearing a dark coat, camouflage pants, and a mask.
