Elkhart Police searching for suspect in homicide

The Elkhart Police Department is searching for a suspect in connection with the shooting death of Tommie L. Strowder on June 20th.
Around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, Elkhart Police responded to the 500 block of S. 5th Street in regards to a shooting.
Strowder, 38, had been shot in the torso.
He died from his injuries.
The suspect is identified as 27-year-old Leon Howard Tyson.
