ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Public Library is hosting the Summer 2025 Reading Challenge beginning on Friday, May 16. 

The challenge is presented by Ranger Distribution Inc. and Froggy 102.7. The kids participating are allowed to read what they want and earn rewards throughout the summer. 

Kids also have an opportunity to earn entries for prize drawings at the end of the summer. The winner of the grand prize will receive an Indiana Dinosaur Museum package with a hotel stay and restaurant meals. 

Participants are able to enter the challenge on the EPL website and begin tracking their reading on the Beanstack app.

The library is also hosting the summer art contest beginning Friday.

The Summer Reading Challenge runs through July 14, and the art contest runs through July 7.
