Elkhart River Bridge closed until November

The U.S. 33 bridge over the Elkhart River in Benton will be closed beginning Monday July 6th.
The Indiana Department of Transportation announced the bridge will be closed to replace a bridge deck between C.R. 33 and C.R. 44.
The detour is U.S. 6 through S.R. 13, to S.R. 15 to U.S. 33.
INDOT expects the project will be completed in early November.
