ELKHART, Ind.- Elkhart hosted its final ArtWalk of the season on Wednesday with a theme of “The Color Purple.”
ArtWalk organizers partnered with YWCA Safe Haven Elkhart to raise awareness for domestic violence during the October event.
The theme was appropriate given that purple is the color of domestic violence awareness and October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The event occurred from 5 to 8 p.m. on October 9 in downtown Elkhart.
