ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Mayor Rod Roberson used Tuesday’s State of the City to address the city’s positive growth direction coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mayor Roberson reinstated the city’s commitment to staying focused major projects, investments, and the improvement of the community’s quality of life.
“It matters how much we make at our jobs, how much housing costs, how far we have to drive to work. These metrics give us a snapshot of the overall health of a city, and this destination confirms that we are putting our efforts in the right place,” said Mayor Roberson.
Upon completion of current goals, Mayor Roberson also commented that he is excited to see Elkhart compete with bigger cities in the region.
