Elkhart schools and parks department partner to bring youth summer sports camps

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Community Schools is partnering with the Elkhart Parks and Recreation Department to bring youth summer sports camps to the community.

Boys’ and girls’ basketball camps as well as youth flag football training will be available for students from fifth to eighth grade.

Youth soccer and basketball camps, as well as a contact football program is being offered for grades Kindergarten through fourth.

A breakdown of camp details are as follows:

Boys Basketball Training at Pierre Moran High School:

• Tuesdays, June 7 through June 28
• For boys in fifth through eighth grade
• From: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Cost: $40

Girls Basketball Training at Pierre Moran Middle School:

• Thursdays, June 9 through June 30
• For girls in fifth through eighth grade
• From: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Cost: $40

Youth Basketball Camp at Northside Middle School:

• June 13 through June 15
• For boys and girls in Kindergarten through fourth grade
• From: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Cost: $30

Youth Flag Football Training at Freshman Division:

• Thursdays, July 7 through July 28
• For boys and girls in the fifth through eighth grades
• From: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Cost: $30

Youth Football Camp at Freshman Division:

• June 20 through June 22
• For boys and girls in Kindergarten through fourth grade
• Check-in: 8:30 a.m., Event: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Cost: $40

Youth Soccer Camp at Pierre Moran Middle School

• June 27 through June 29
• For boys and girls in Kindergarten through fourth grade
• Check-in: 8:30 a.m., Event: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Cost: $30
