Elkhart Schools report inappropriate image being sent around educational app

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - Officials with Elkhart Community Schools are encouraging families to reset their Seesaw parent/family accounts after the school system received information about an inappropriate image circulating on the app.

According to school officials, administration was notified first thing Wednesday morning of an image being circulated through a small number of accounts.

The technology department began investigating immediately and temporarily blocked student access to Seesaw messages.

The school corporation said the issue is not local to Elkhart Community Schools and that Seesaw itself is having issues.

The Seesaw company is aware of the issue and Elkhart Schools is waiting for a plan from them.

Families can reset their password here.
