Elkhart travel advisory raised to orange / watch level

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – The Elkhart County Department of Health has confirmed that there are community-spread cases of the coronavirus which are under investigation. This has prompted the Elkhart County Commissioners and Mayors to raise Elkhart’s travel status to orange / watch level.

During a “watch” travel advisory, only essential travel is recommended such as to and from work or for an emergency.

It is also advised that emergency action plans be used by businesses, schools, government agencies, and other organizations.
