Elkhart's Mayor Roberson to hold State of the City address May 23
ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Mayor Rod Roberson announced on Friday that he will hold the annual State of the City address in the Crystal Ballroom of the Lerner Theatre on Thursday, May 23 at 6 p.m.
"Mayor Roberson will provide a comprehensive overview of the city's progress, initiatives, and future plans, highlighting key achievements and addressing important issues facing Elkhart," said Elkhart Director of Communications Corrine Straight.
Organizers say the location of the Lerner Theatre was chosen since the gem of downtown will embark on its centennial anniversary that kicks off in November and will be celebrated throughout 2025.
“I’m looking forward to gathering our community for my fifth State of the City,” said Mayor Rod Roberson “Tomorrow’s Elkhart is Starting Today and together, we can shape the future of Elkhart and build a stronger, more vibrant community for all."
