Emergency crews become violently ill from Red Cross meal

PORTER COUNTY, Ind. -- Some Indiana rescue workers became violently sick, and the Red Cross may be to blame.

Three freight train collided last week near Valparaiso.

About 20 emergency workers got sick, and officials said a meal served to police and firefighters seems to be the cause.

Ethanol and diesel fuel spilled in the crash, but investigators said those chemicals have been ruled out.
