Holiday miracles in Mishawaka
On Tuesday, two fishermen who were scouting for a location came upon a wrecked vehicle under a bridge that connects the I-94 highway in Portage, Indiana.
911 Caller: “There’s a car that's been here since Wednesday and there’s a person inside of it. He’s still alive too.”
They noticed that someone was in the vehicle, trapped and alive.
Matt Reum wrecked his vehicle last Wednesday and went undetected until this call.
911 Caller: “Dude that’s crazy, I came down here to check for fishing and he’s down here in the car.”
The 911 caller helped the dispatcher direct first responders, then attempted to assure Reum that help was on the way.
911 Caller: “They’re on the way buddy, They’re on the way.”
Then, after six days of waiting, the sound of first responders.
911 Caller: “Alright - they’re here.”
