Equipment failure leads to lane restrictions on CR6 in Elkhart

ELKHART, Ind. -- The city of Elkhart has implemented lane restrictions on CR 6 between SR 19 and Johnson Street for approximately one week.
On Friday, one of the city's sewage pumping stations failed.
A contractor installed a bypass system, but it is in the roadway of CR 6.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
