Events for South Bend Pride week include South Bend Cubs game, festival

The LGBTQ Center kicked off a week-long schedule of events for South Bend Pride week with a Queer Art Expo on Sunday. The week will end on Saturday with a festival at Potawatomi Park.

South Bend Pride 2019 Calendar of Events:

  • Sunday June 9  Queer Art Expo at The LGBTQ Center, 5-7 p.m.
  • Monday June 10  Musical Monday at R Bar, 6-11 p.m.
  • Tuesday June 11  LGBTQ Networking Night at Aloft Hotel, 5-8 p.m.
  • Wednesday June 12  Pride Gone Wild! at the Potawatomi Zoo, 5-9 p.m.
  • Thursday June 13  South Bend Cubs Pride Night at Four Winds Field, 6:30-9 p.m.
  • Friday June 14  All Ages Drag Show at The Well, 6-9 p.m.
  • Saturday June 15  South Bend Pride Festival at the Chris Wilson Pavilion in Potawatomi Park, 11-7 p.m.

The South Bend Pride Festival on Saturday will feature over 60 vendors, live entertainment, special guests Mr. and Mrs. Gay Indiana, a Cornhole Tournament and the Proud Pet Parade Costume Contest.

In honor of South Bend Pride, the River Lights will turn rainbow on Saturday night.
