Everett Golson honored by FBS

SOUTH BEND. Ind. -- Monday, Notre Game quarterback Everett Golson was named an Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) Independent Player of the Week.
Golson is recognized as the offensive player of the week after he helped bring the Irish back from a 14 point deficit to beat Pitt.
It is his second consecutive time to earn the honor and third time overall.
Golson finished the game with a career high 74 rushing yards completed 23 of 42 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception.
