Ex-boyfriend pleads guilty in murder of Ashley Starr

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Marshun Lloyd has pleaded guilty in the murder of his former girlfriend, Ashley Starr.

Lloyd, 26, pleaded guilty to Starr’s murder as part of an agreement on November 26. His sentencing is scheduled for January 8, 2020.

According to court documents, Starr was stabbed to death on March 10 at her home on Huron Circle.

Lloyd was arrested on March 14 in Gary, Indiana by U.S. Marshals on an outstanding warrant.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Lloyd's cell phone was in the cell sector of Huron Circle the night before Starr's body was found and a small blood stain in Lloyd’s vehicle was consistent with Starr’s DNA.
