A large system of low pressure continues to lurch towards Michiana the rest of today, bringing mainly snow to Michiana.
The winter weather advisory for all counties begins at 1 PM EST and expires at 7 AM EST Thursday morning.
A freezing rain/snow mix is more likely in southern Kosciusko and Fulton Counties than the rest of our area this evening.
The heaviest snow will fall around the evening commute, beginning near 4 PM and lasting until 8-9 PM.
Impacts will be significantly inconvenient with the main concerns being reduced visibility, slick roads, and accumulating snow with so many drivers on the road.
The system moves east past Michiana around midnight, leaving scattered snow showers tomorrow morning.
