Extension keeps Michigan's legal limit at .08

LANSING, Mich. — Two of Michigan's drunk driving laws have been extended.

The laws will keep drunk driving standard at .08 percent until 2018.

The blood alcohol standard was set to go up to .10 in October.

Both laws also renew the sentencing guidelines in place for drunk drivers. 

Michigan's governor signed the extension into effect Thursday.
