The humidity surges into Wednesday, as the combination of extreme temperatures and humidity makes for hazardous heat for the midweek. The heat index will be 100 to 110 degrees during the hottest part of the days. The heat will break Friday and the humidity falls through the weekend. There is a chance of thunderstorms Thursday, but at this point it seems highly isolated and there is much uncertainty in development.
