The snow will be melted by Thursday afternoon as temperatures rise into the mid-40s. The wettest day of the next ten is Friday, rain is likely most the day, with more than a half inch or rainfall possible. There is a chance of rain every day through the weekend but it's more hit-or-miss. Rain is like Saturday and Sunday mornings with a drier period in the afternoon. A few showers are also possible Monday and Tuesday, with rain mixing with snow Tuesday into Wednesday. The bark may seem worse than the bite after Friday. Long range the forecast trends milder and drier.
