Fallen Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Officer, and Nappanee native, Rod Bradway is set to get the Congressional Badge of Bravery.
The award was created by Congress to honor exceptional acts of bravery by our law enforcement.
Friday, U.S. Senators Dan Coats and Joe Donnelly, U.S. Representative Andre Carson and representatives from the U.S. Department of Justice and IMPD will come together to honor Bradway.
In 2013, he was killed in the line of duty while responding to a domestic situation.
