Famed composer Marvin Hamlisch dies

LOS ANGELES -- Famed composer Marvin Hamlisch died Monday after battling short illness.

Hamlisch was most known for his work on the musical A Chorus Line.

He also did work on popular movies such as "The Way We Were" and the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me.

Hamlisch was 68.
