Fans flock to midnight premiere of 'The Dark Knight Rises'

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – It was Batman mania at this Mishawaka theater, and for a lot of fans the highlight of the summer.

Fans packed Cinemark 14 to catch the first viewing of highly anticipated “The Dark Knight Rises,” the final installment of the "caped crusader" trilogy.

Fans attending the event were quite excited.

“I’ve been a big fan of his existence since I was about 4,” said Jacob Nava. ‘I imagine it’s going to be amazing.”

“The Dark Knight Rises” is expected to make big box office numbers this weekend.
