Fans upset after Notre Dame BCS loss

SOUTH BEND, Ind -- Although Notre Dame lost, people in South Bend are already putting the game behind them and are looking ahead to next year.

We spoke to people at the Linebacker Inn, who say stayed out to support their team. They say the disappointing performance didn't stop people from going out and showing Notre Dame pride.

The bar was packed before, during, and after the BCS national championship game.

"Like ugh! We had such a exciting season. We went to the national championship and they got there, but were like what 'What are you doing?' the whole game," said Brianaa Dowling.

"It was a tough one they had a lot of mistakes today," said Pete Rizzo.

Those mistakes cost them the national championship, leading many people to turn to a few extra drinks at their local bar.

"We're trying to drink away our sorrows" said Jared Emmons.

Not everyone was upset. Some people told us they were just happy to be part of the experience. Others are looking forward to another great season next year.

"The Irish will be back. We'll get some good recruits, and within the next couple years I say we will see a national championship here," said Rizzo.
