Fatal accident affects traffic on US 12 in Edwardsburg

EDWARDSBURG, Mich. -- Emergency crews responded to a fatal head-on accident on US 12 near Eagle Lake in Edwardsburg Wednesday afternoon.
The road was closed for two hours while crews investigated and cleaned up the accident.
Four people were involved in the accident. Three were taken to the hospital and one died on the scene.
The road has since reopened.
