Fatal crash believed to be caused by medical event

BREMEN, Ind. -- A driver who died in a crash on US 6 in Bremen may have suffered a medical event just prior to the crash, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.

Michael Lynn Andrus was driving a 2017 Dodge Ram west on US 6 just east of Elm Road around 4:30 p.m. Sunday when it is believed he suffered a medical event.

His truck ran off the side of the road and struck a small tree.

Andrus received medical treatment at the scene, but was later pronounced dead at the scene.
