Motorcyclist killed in crash on CR 5 Friday morning

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A motorcyclist was killed in a two vehicle crash on CR 5 Friday just before 11 a.m., according to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office.
A woman driving a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis was turning onto CR 5 from Treva Street and drove into the path of a motorcycle on CR5, according to deputies.
The motorcyclist was ejected and died as a result of the crash.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
