Fatal crash in Michigan City on Kentucky Street

LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. – A single car crash left one man dead in Michigan City on Sunday morning.
Donavin Worland, 21, of Michigan City was found deceased at PowerDrive on the 1500 block of Kentucky Street early Sunday morning.
According to Michigan City police detectives, Worland lost control of his vehicle along the street and struck two concrete barriers which flipped the vehicle as it crashed into the PowerDrive building.
The LaPorte County Police Department and Traffic Division continue to investigate the scene.
Alcohol or drugs are not determined to be involved in the crash.
