Fatal Crash Team investigating hit-and-run involving motorcycle

MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team is investigating after someone hit a man on a motorcycle, then left the scene.
It happened around 3 a.m. Tuesday in front of Mishawaka High School, near Lincolnway East and Byrkit.
The investigation revealed the motorcyclist, 38-year-old Barry Hutter, was traveling eastbound and was rear ended by another eastbound vehicle. The other vehicle fled the scene.
Hutter was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators believe the vehicle involved is a 2001-2007 Chrysler Town and Country that is silver or grey.
