Fatal hit-and-run in Cass County Monday morning

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- A driver traveling on U.S. 12, just west of Mason St. in Cass County's Porter Township spotted a body on the side of the road around 6:27 a.m. Monday morning.
After receiving the call, Cass County Sheriff's Office deputies and emergency medical personnel arrived on scene and the man was pronounced dead.
The person who reported seeing the body said they believed the man had been hit by a vehicle.
