Fatal house fire in Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, Ind. -- Three people were killed in an over night house fire in Mount Vernon, Indiana.
The victims have been identified as a 28-year-old mom, her five-year-old daughter and another 15-year-old family cousin.
Firefighters responded to the fire just after midnight.
Several other people inside were able to escape the home.
Police say one person even climbed through a window and onto the roof, then jumped to the ground.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
