How rain is hampering planting progress
LAGRANGE CO., Ind. - One woman was killed and two men were sent to the hospital in a Toll Road crash Tuesday morning.
Indiana State Police said 66-year-old Marie L. Benson was driving westbound when she passed over the center median and into the eastbound lane. Her vehicle hit 72-year-old driver Anthony C. Escher's car, fatally injuring Besancon and seriously injuring Escher and his passenger 75-year-old Walter B. Cole.
Escher and Cole were airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital, and their condition is unknown at this time.
Police are still investigating the crash, and we will update this story with more information as it comes in.
