FBI searching for suspect in deadly Colorado shooting

DENVER — The FBI and police in Colorado are searching for the person who reportedly shot and killed the director of the state's prison system.

Police in Denver are searching for the person who shot Tom Clements at his home on Tuesday night.

Officers said that Clements answered the doorbell around 8:30 p.m. and that is when they say he was shot.

Investigators are currently looking to see if Clements was targeted for revenge.

A former warden at Colorado's federal supermax prison said it is a career that creates enemies.

"You have 20,000 individuals, any one could have a reason to hurt Mr. Clements," said Robert Hood.
