FDA recalls various brands of dry dog food

The FDA has issued recalls for a variety of dry pet food brands.

The dry dog food brands have been recalled according to the FDA, due to elevated levels of Vitamin D.

The elevated vitamin D symptoms for dogs could include vomiting, loss of appetite, increased thirst, increased urination, excessive drooling, and weight loss.

The FDA said that extremely high levels of Vitamin D could even cause renal failure.

Any dogs that have eaten the recalled food below and are exhibiting any of the symptoms should be taken to see a veterinarian.

Pet owners who have purchased the products should return them to the place of purchase for a refund or a replacement.
