Felony suspect crashes into Marshall County Sheriff's vehicle, arrested for dealing drugs

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. – A vehicle driven by a felony suspect allegedly collided with the vehicle of a Marshall County deputy after attempting to evade arrest on Thursday. They were taken into custody on charges of Dealing Methamphetamine and Resisting Law-Enforcement.

The incident occurred at 11:57 a.m. in the Plymouth area when a Department official attempted to pull over the suspect who was wanted for a controlled substance-related criminal offense.

The suspect was pursued through the Plymouth area before turning into the parking lot of the Economy Inn on Michigan Street.

That is when the suspect allegedly collided with a deputy’s vehicle.

Shortly thereafter the suspect was arrested and taken into custody for Dealing Methamphetamine (Level 5 Felony) and Resisting Law-Enforcement (Level 6 Felony).

The suspect has been identified as Jason C. Joseph and his bond has been set at $25,000.
