DETRIOT, Mich.-A female Michigan High School student has landed a starting spot on the football team.
Sixteen-year-old Monique Howard is a senior at Pershing High School in Detroit, she's also the starting right tackle for her school's football team.
Several people have told her she couldn't do it, but Monique says she's doing just fine. There are only about 3 dozen girl players among the nearly 45,000 high school boy football players in the state.
