A fifth St. Joseph County COVID-19 patient has died, according to the St. Joseph County Department of Health.
The county has a total of 264 cases.
The patient who died was an elderly male who had several underlying health conditions. His death was associated with an outbreak at a local long-term care facility.
The county also reported a cluster of new positive cases in a long term care facility, which increased the number of reported cases in the last few days.
