SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A fight broke out at Navarre Middle School following a basketball game and ended with police arresting one man and detaining one juvenile.
The fight broke out around 7:30 p.m., according to police.
Initially, officers were told someone had a gun.
According to police, nearly every officer on shift responded, in addition to units from St. Joseph County and Indiana State police departments.
No guns were located and there was no evidence of any shots being fired, according to police.
While one person was injured, officials reported that there were no fatalities and no one was taken to the hospital.
This investigation remains ongoing.
