Fighting Irish band wakes up campus with march out

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The campus of Notre Dame was musically lit Thursday morning to wake up the new school year.
The Notre Dame marching band helped kick off the start of the semester.
The symbolic march out by the Fighting Irish band included about 500 students that are trying out for this year's band.
This is the 168th year for the band and the 126th football season.
