Fighting Irish kick off spring practice ahead of Blue-Gold game

NOTRE DAME, Ind.- ABC57’s Allison Hayes and LeVon Whittaker took us to day one of spring football practice at Notre Dame.

This marks the start of head coach Marcus Freeman’s second season.

This is the first spring practice for new offensive coordinator Gerad Parker, who will receive support from running backs' coach Deland McCullough, who was recently promoted to the run game.

Also new to practice is quarterbacks' coach Gino Guidugli joining transfer quarterback Sam Hartman.
