Final Elk Art on Parade sculpture finds new home

The last CAPS elk statue has found its permanent home at Lippert Components. It is the 38th and final elk statue.

The large painted elk have been around Elkhart since the Elk Art on Parade began in 2011.

The purpose behind the project, which was created by Child And Parent Services of Elkhart, is to spread awareness of the importance of strong families in the development of healthy, happy children.

The statue was painted by a Granger-based artist and long-time CAPS supporter Anna Ryan Drew.

The completed work will now be a permanent fixture at the corner of County Road 6 & Marina Drive in Elkhart.

All proceeds from the sale of the elk statues went to benefit CAPS in its mission to end child abuse in Elkhart County.
